Book reveals who the (Iberian) wolf really is to children
The non-governmental environmental organisation Palombar - Nature and Rural Heritage Conservation has just published the book 'The Wolf That Wasn't Bad' for children, which reveals to youngsters who the Iberian wolf really is.

By deconstructing the key ideas present in one of the most popular children's stories whose villain is the wolf - Little Red Riding Hood - which have produced, in the collective social imaginary, a negative image of this species, the book shows, in a narrative driven by the doubts and intrinsic curiosity of a child, who the Iberian wolf is, addressing several key issues related to this mammal, such as its biology, ecological value, behaviour, threats it faces and practical conservation measures that promote the peaceful coexistence of man with the wolf. The book also includes a "Wolf Quiz" that helps children consolidate key information about this iconic species.

The book is for sale on request through the e-mail palombar@palombar.pt | Price 12€ (free shipping to continental Portugal) | Recommended age 4 to 12 years. By buying the book, you are helping Palombar to fulfil its mission to conserve nature, namely the Iberian wolf, and the rural heritage!
